Ken Jacobson

Ken Jacobson, 75, Fargo, ND died on Monday, Nov. 2, 2015 at Essentia Health, Fargo, ND. Kenneth Marvin Jacobson was born Nov. 3, 1939 at Fargo, ND to Richard and Esther Jacobson. He grew up and attended school at Wheatland, ND. He worked for area farmers. Ken married Myrtle Krueger on July 8, 1965 in Moorhead, MN. They made their home in Fargo where he worked at Community Homes and the Eagle's. They moved to Casselton in 1977. He worked as a painter at Steiger Tractor in Fargo. He retired from there due to his health. They moved back to Fargo in 2015. He enjoyed hunting and spending time with family and the grandkids. He was a fan of the Green Bay Packers, NY Yankees and WWE Wrestling. Ken is survived by his wife, Myrtle; three sons, Kenneth (Vicki) of Casselton, Timothy (Dorene) of Wheatland, ND and Christopher (Tina) of Glyndon, MN; grandchildren, Chase and Mayzee; six step grandchildren; three sisters, Betty Dorr, Minneapolis, MN, Hazel Parsley, Sandpoint, ID and Doris Adams, Chico, CA. He was preceded in death by his parents and five siblings, Raymond, Margaret, Ruth, Melvin and Joyce. Funeral: Monday, Nov. 9, 2015 at 10:30 AM at Martin's Lutheran Church, Casselton with visitation one hour prior. Burial: Wheatland Cemetery.
