Not sure what to say?

Ken was a wonderful guy with a great sense of humor. Our moms were best friends, so when we were kids our families frequently went camping together and spent time together. We stayed in touch over the years. When I visited San Francisco a couple times, I contacted him, or when I was in Grand Rapids, I would see him when I visited his mother or sister. One of my favorite memories of Ken was when we were kids. He was always clowning around. We were probably around 9 or 10 years old, and Ken was...

I met Ken during driver's training. I could tell he was something special right off the bat. I have never forgotten him throughout the years. He was so easy to be around. There was such an assurance about him, he had a way of making people feel comfortable. I'm so sorry he's gone! This is a very sad time for everyone who knew him.

I send my sympathy to Ken's family. I have great memories of him...especially when he sat behind me in 9th grade English at West Side Christian. He always had such a great sense of humor and a zest for living life to the fullest! He will be greatly missed.

My thoughts and prayers to the Nederveld family. Ken was a great friend at GRCCHS.....

With deepest sympathy. I email with Ken last year before the class reunion that he could not physicaly attend. Great memories of football, locker mates, double dating and just friendship! Wish I iculd have stayed closer to him. Jose Infante

I am sad to hear Ken is gone but glad he is in a better place now.He would keep me going in our football practice on and off the field with his smile and humor.I miss him.Regards to his family.

So sorry to hear of Ken's early passing. May God comfort his family and loved one with His peace and comfort, in the days, weeks, and months ahead. To know he is at rest, with no pain or struggles.
I remember Ken from High school. Such a jovial guy, lots of fun, lots of friends, and if you were so lucky to sit by him in class, you could be sure of a good fun class time with him nearby. Funny comments, jokes, and just a fun presence about him. Such a blessing to have such a neat sense of...

I have many fond memories of Ken, including our early years at West Side Christian, playing in the neighborhood, riding bikes, and playing football at Grand Rapids Central Christian High School I also remember his dad driving us daily to high school. My deepest sympathy to you all.
