Not sure what to say?

Keith Ellen and Jeff,
I've just learned of the passing on of your father, belatedly. Very sorry to hear this, but he certainly has lived one full life!
As a reader of history, I've read all of his books and enjoyed them.
May he rest in peace, and give my love to your mother.

I had the pleasure of playing in the Ken Ragsdale Orchestra for 7 years in the late 80s and early 90s. I recorded a bunch of our shows in 1993 - the best of those moments are available for download. http://karlrehnmusic.com/live_mp3s/KenRagsdale/JamsClams/KROJamsClams.html

I purchased his book, "Big Bend Country ~ Land of the Unexpected" at Big Bend National Forest gift shop on Wednesday and am enjoying his work. For me, he lives on. God Bless.

Mr. Ragsdale was such a positive influence on me and his other band students at Pearce. He taught us his joy in music while showing a good measure of patience with junior high kids. I have very fond memories of him and highly respect his work and legacy.

Ken was a wonderful, intelligent and intensely kind man.
