My favorite memory of my wife's uncle, Ken Wallis, is when during one of the many family gatherings at the Rain's; he, Barney Rains, Danny Moore, and myself would team up two against two, playing bumper pool in Barney's den. Ken was always smiling, laughing, and enjoyed ribbing his in-laws; especially if they were on the other team, winning or losing. Barney, Danny, and now Ken, are all gone; but never in my mind's eye. So long, Ken; those were the happiest of times.

Dear man, big in body, heart, and spirit. Ken and Harriett shared their home life with me in great love and generosity, a dear part of my childhood. Ken has a place in my heart as long as it beats.
