Dear Rhea,
I just read about Ken in my Calvin Spark.I am so sorry for your loss. You are all in our thoughts and prayers. Many fond memories of you and Ken from Bethel days--a special memory of our junior choir singing at your wedding from the balcony of Grandville Ave CRC.Glad we could reconnect at Roosevelt Park Community CRC.
Lovingly,
Ken and Pat 7'sma Diekevers

Saddened to learn of your loss, Rhea. Our years together on the corner of Franklin and Madison left a vivid memory of a godly, capable, compassionate and caring community of professional colleagues. You and Ken are part of that memory, and I think of those years with great appreciation. May God embrace you all in a cocoon of His love and grace!

Coach and Christian mentor Ken Zandee shaped my life for the good. As a varsity basketball player in 1968-69 season, when Ken coached his first year, I found his upbeat personality inspiring. His enthusiam for sports and making a Christian imprint on life cpativated student/athletes like myself.

Coach Zandee attended the 50th Reunion of the 1969 Christian High Class when we recalled many cherished memories of our time together.

I telephoned him in late April to express thanks...

Dear Rhea and family, We are so sorry for your loss! Ken was a wonderful example of a man made in God's image, as he made the journey through life. We so enjoyed his company and perspective on so many issues in sports and life! We will miss him also. Praying for you all that God's grace will surround you and give you peace.

Dear Rhea and family, We are so sorry for your loss! Ken was such a fine example of a man made in God' s image as he made his journey through life. We always enjoyed his company and perspective on so many things in life. We will miss him also! Keeping you all in our prayers for grace to keep going forward, Lyle and Barb Voskuil

Ken and Rhea were my care group leaders during my widowhood years at Madison Square Church. They carried me to Jesus many times. I am deeply grateful to both of them.
I am praying for God's comfort for the whole family.

My condolences to the entire Zandee family. Coach Zandee was a Teacher, Coach, Mentor and Friend to me and thousands of other students and athletes. We are thankful that he is in our Lord and Saviors' loving arms.

Blessings to all of you through this tough time. Another giant in the world of GRCHS sports has gone to Jesus, but more importantly Ken was a man who set the example of how to love his family. We should each love our children well today. He was sure proud of all of you children and grandchildren alike.

To the Zandee family,

I am so very sorry for your loss. I taught with Ken at GRCH in the mid 80's to early 90's. He was the epitome of a Christ led educator and coach. May God's grace embrace you during your time of grief.
