When Kendall K. Frederick would leave the house, his 3-year-old brother Kwesi would cry and ask for him. And he was only to happy to spoil his two sisters, Kennisha, 15, and Kendra, 11. "He would spoil them rotten," said his mother, Michelle Murphy. "When they couldn't get anything from me, they would just call their big brother, and he would give it to them." Frederick, 21, of Randallstown, Md., was killed Oct. 19 near Tikrit by a roadside bomb. He was assigned to Monclova. Born in Trinidad, Frederick graduated from high school in 2004 and moved to Michigan for a job as a mechanic. He was serving as a power generator equipment mechanic. "He was one of those children that didn't make a lot of noise, but he was a great kid, and he had lots to offer our society," said Sheila Reed, assistant principal. He also is survived by his stepfather, Kenmore Murphy, and his father, Peter Ramsahai. Frederick had just come home to visit. "He was so happy to be home. We laughed a lot and had a great time," his mother said. "He came home for a reason _ to tell us he loved us."
