I can't say that I knew you well, Mr. Pease. I wish that I could say otherwise. In the short conversations we held, it was always easy to share a good laugh. That's a blessing to me. Your son, Jacob, has also been a blessing in my life. The joy and personality that radiate from him come from excellent parents. While you may not be on Earth anymore, you are dancing in heaven. While I may not be the best judge, all I can say is: Well done, and see you later.

I have a lot of amazing people in my life. However, I don't know if Ken knew how amazing he was to me. He helped me on days when I was feeling down or uncertain or just wasn't feeling well. All it would take was a visit from him (from Georgetown to Lexington and then home to Versailles)and one of his infectious crooked grins, and he could pull me up and through it. Even though I told him I loved him every chance I got, I'm not sure he understood how much he really meant to me. I will miss you...
