Kendra Ross, aged 19, of Alto, has begun her new life in heaven, a life that we will enjoy together with her in the presence of our Lord. We are grateful for the hope that we have as Christians that to be absent from the body, is to be present with the Lord. She was preceded in death by her...

Not sure what to say?

Dear Ross family,

As I sit here and try to know what to say, words simply escape me. I can say this to you, because our daughter Emily went to be with our Savior two years ago in October. Our daughters sound like they have much in common...a love for life, family, athletics and most importantly, Jesus.

A kind soul wrote on here from our Lakewood community and also wrote on Emily's site to encourage others to reach out to you and pray for your family. We are faithful...

I just want to thank the family and friends, for making Kendra who she was. Thanks go most of all to God, who created the perfect image of him. She was such an inspiration to me,on and off the track, and I was given the honor of having her pass down the Homecoming Queen crown to me, She was the best Queen Caledonia had, and she had written the most amazing not to me, everytime I look at it I just smile, and thank God for blessing us with her presence for the time we had with her....

Kendra is such an awesome person. And I use the present tense "is" because she still is and always will be an awesome person...only now in full glory with her King. She is full of love and smiles. Thanks be to God for her life, and for her loving Savior and Lord Jesus, who will usher her and all those that repent and believe in Him, into the Father's home. Prayers and condolences to all the loved ones of Kendra, namely family and friends. We love you and so does God. Hold tight to Him. ...

Carolyn & Dennis,
Even though we have not kept in touch, I hear your family news through your mom, Carolyn. I heard of your daughter's tragic accident and I want you to know how sorry Tom and I are. Some good friends here also lost their 21-year-old son in November and we are heart-broken for both of you. I can't imagine losing a child with such potential and promise ahead of them. You are in our thoughts and prayers - that God will be your "ever-present help in time of trouble"....

Carolyn, Dennis and family -- I was so sorry to read in the Times Herald that you have suffered such a tragic loss. I cannot imagine the heartfelt sorry you are experiencing. When we lost our baby, one of the older women in our church wrote these words to us. It does not heal your heart but it does always make us feel better. She wrote,"God does not just want old people in heaven, he wants beautiful young people that he can enjoy." Kendra is now with Grandma and Grandpa Miller and lives...

To Kendra's Family and Friends:

I am so sorry to hear about your loss and my prayers are with you each and everyday. Please continue to remember that God is with you all the time. He is your strength and your rock.

My deepest sympathy.

To the Ross family:

My thoughts and prayers go out to you all. I didnt know Kendra, but from what I have read on here she sounds like an amazing girl. I lost my 16 year old sister, Emily Duits, a few years ago in a car accident similar to Kendra's. I wish I could tell you that the pain goes away and you start to miss your loved ones less, but that would not be the truth. I still miss my sister every single day and will continue to miss her forever, as I know you will miss Kendra. My...

Carolyn and Dennis,

I just received an email from Dawn telling me what happened. It takes our breath away. We are grieving day and night for you and your family. We are so sorry and we are praying for you. May God comfort you during this season.

Love,

Pat and Vicky Grady

Dennis, Carolyn and boys,

Andy and I were so stunned to hear the news of Kendra last night on the news. It was such a pleasure to have you and your family visit with us when all our kids were litte just a few short years ago. It is a very pleasant memory of Christian fellowship that we enjoyed at Whitneyville Bible Church while we were members there. We hope and pray you are holding up under the tremendous loss you have suffered. We will be praying for all of you and wish all the...
