I didn´t know you personally but, I now own the most beautiful home with the most beautiful koi pond ever and It´s all thanks to you and your family. We are making a lot of arrangements but keeping your pond. Hope one day your kids and grandkids can come and visit and maybe share some memories with us. Thank you

I was very saddened to hear of Mr. T's passing. I met him while working at Charter Way Florist on Pershing Ave. Enjoyed talking with him and listening to his words of wisdom and many stories. I fed his koi when he was away and bought fish food and would take it to his house. While I was there he would ask me to do other little chores for him. He will be greatly missed. The Stockton community and beyond has lost a treasure. RIP Mr. T.

I am so sorry for your loss. He was a remarkable and sweet man. He will be greatly missed by so many especially those he has connected us with in Shimizu/Shizoka and all the other organizations he had worked with. He had a heart of gold. Prayers to you all.

Kevin, I am so very sorry to hear of your dad's passing. Mr. "T" was a really nice guy. He was a South Stockton Icon. I remember when I was in high school and went into the shop and told him I needed flowers for my prom date. He looked at me with that serious face of his, then he broke into a smile and told me not to worry, that he would take care of everything. And he did. I really loved your dad and mom. Sensei's ability to connect people to create community was rare. His strenght of conviction has influenced many generations of students as he sent them off to befriend people from other cultures. He is already sorely missed. Please accept our condolences.
