I met Kenn and Linda Jan 1, 2022 on a New Years Day hike at Sugarloaf State Park. I was drawn to their charm and their stamina at 88 years old! We had a nice chat along the way and finished with the photos below, as I believe it was also their Anniversary. They inspired me to remain active and embrace the outdoors as a way to stay young. I was sad to read of their passing, but what accomplished lives! I´m happy to have met them and offer my condolences to their family.

I met Kenn and Linda New Years Day, 2022 on a group hike at Sugarloaf State Park. I was impressed with their charm and ability at their age, twice that of some of us, to get out there and enjoy nature. They told me they had been volunteers at the park for some time. I believe that they were celebrating an anniversary, so we took a couple photos to document the occasion. They inspired me to keep moving, stay active, use nature to help lead to a long life. I was so saddened to learn of Ken's passing. I am also a retired LMFT in Ukiah. Ken and I were classmates in the SFU Masters Degree program in Santa Rosa in the 80's.
