Read More My sincerest condolences to the family of Col Abe. It was my privilege to have known and served under him for a long time. He was always so cool under pressure and he had the ability to make work fun. Sorry I couln't be there at this sad time as my wife and I are away from Minnesota.

In 1955 Captain Abe Flew me in a T-33 fighter down to Lowry AFB in Denver to transfer my records from the Air Force to the Air Guard. I shall always fondly remember him for his part in my flying career.
