ALLARD, Kenneth R. -Of Holly, age 68, died Saturday, March 1, 2003 at his residence. Funeral service will be held at 2PM Thursday, March 6, 2003 at St. Paul Episcopal Church, 711 South Saginaw Street in Flint, Father Gordon Okunsanya officiating. Burial in Sunset Hills Cemetery. Those desiring may make contributions to St. Paul Episcopal Church Memorial Fund. Visitation 5-8PM Tuesday and 1-4 and 6-8PM Wednesday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road. Mr. Allard will be at the church from 1PM Thursday until the time of the service. He was born in Flint, Michigan on August 20, 1934. Mr. Allard graduated from Michigan State University in 1956, with a Bachelor of Science Degree. He was employed by the City of Flint Police Department before beginning work in Sales Management at Western Steel and Alro Steel, where he worked for 40 years, retiring on May 22, 2002. Surviving are wife, Beverly; 4 children, Patricia Allard Gould and fiance' Richard Riccelli of Texas, Michele and husband Dr. Eduardo Reyes of Arizona, Ronald Allard II of California and Matthew Allard of Grand Blanc; 3 step-children, Bonnie Petty of California, Jerry and wife Patricia Potts of Alaska, Jeffrey and wife Stephanie Potts of Clio; 15 grandchildren; 3 great- grandchildren; mother, Doris Allard of Grand Blanc; 2 brothers, Clyde and wife Georgie Allard of Grand Blanc, Bruce and wife Mary Jo Allard of Flushing; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Allard.
