The earthly loss of a good friend is always a hard thing to accept thoroughly. I only knew Ken for the short time I was his Vice Commander of the SCB. He was a true Navy Man became a good friend. May all our memories be good like his story of the haircut Adm Rickover gave to his OIC at Nuc Prototype. I was sorry my health did not permit me to attend his services.

On behalf of the United States Submarine Veterans (USSVI), I offer our sincere condolences on Kenneth's passing. You and your loved ones are in our thoughts and prayers. We are forever grateful for Ken's service to our country in the U.S. Submarine Service. To our Brother of the Phin we say, Sailor, rest your oar. We have the watch. May you rest in peace and may God bless your loved ones who remain. Thank you for your service to our country."
Now may the Lord of peace Himself give you...
