Not sure what to say?

I am so sorry to hear of Professor Arnold's untimely passing. He was a wonderful instructor, able to make a complex subject understandable and interesting, truly caring about his students. Last fall, my car battery died just as I was heading to campus for one of his exams. I got there an hour late, terrified, but he completely understood - told me to relax, ignore the clock and take as much time as I needed. Little kindnesses like that...they are what make an outstanding professor, just...

Dear Jann, Greg, and Chris,

I am so sorry for your loss. I remember Ken as a great friend and person. I have wonderful memories of camping and backpacking with Ken, in particular a trip we made up thru Canada to Manitoulin Island (back around 1983, I think.) The last time I saw Ken was at your wedding - and our lives went on, and we lost touch. I have you in my thoughts.

Dear Jann, Chris and Greg,
I was so sad to hear the loss of Ken. You and the family (and Ken)
will be in our prayers.

Dear Jann, Greg, and Chris,

Ken was a wonderful friend and person. Kind, thoughtful, and generous are some of the appropriate descriptions that come to mind. I have many wonderful (and sometimes painful) memories of camping and backpacking with him, though it seems so long ago now. I am very sorry for your loss and have you in my thoughts and prayers.

Mrs. Armantrout, Chris & Greg,
I was so surprised to hear of the sudden passing of your husband/father. It's been many years (Chris & Greg are long out of Preschool now!) but I still think of all of you often. Please take care and may the love of friends and family carry you through this difficult time. My thoughts & prayers are with you.

Dear Jann, Chris and Greg,
I know I already signed this guest book, but, I think of you all the time. I am so very saddened by your loss. Ken was a wonderful man - quiet, loving and giving. Everyone who came in contact with him benefitted from knowing him. We will all miss him dearly. Please know that you are constantly in my thoughts and prayers; and if there is anything at all that I can do for you, please don't hesitate to ask.
With affection,

I am deeply saddened to learn the passing of Ken Arnold. Why should good people leave us in an untimely manner?
Ken was my student at RIT. We continued our interactions through the IEEE Rochester Section for a long time. My thoughts and prayers are with his family as they go through this difficult time.

It is with great sorrow that I bid my dear brother an earthly good-bye. Ken you were a great man, great scientist, devote Christian, father and husband. I miss you yesterday, today and tomorrow.
I wilsh you a peaceful journey as you join Mom and Dad. God Bless you always.
