Not sure what to say?

To Kent's family: I never met you but I recall Kent with the greatest affection from Thames Hospital. He, Juan, Peter and I saw ourselves through our junior Dr years with humour, ethanol and music. He persuaded me to play in his band, to perform at one of the University reviews, and trusted me to have his back regarding a medical issue. Cars, cigars, music and humour, what can go wrong? Today after hearing about you Kent the world is the poorer. RIP "Ayers" Andrew Gin

I´m so very sad and sorry to hear of Dr Ayers passing . Such a lovely Man . I didn´t have IVF treatment with Kent . I had Ovarian surgery back when He first arrived at the Beacon hospital Dundrum . He really took great care of me . He was so witty and he definitely put me at ease . Never forgot Kent . One of a kind. I recall him carrying out his ward rounds wearing a referee whistle as the rugby was on . Supporting the kiwis from Ireland . Good on ya mate . A Lovely man and great...

Iv just heard the news . I´m so sad to hear the news of Kent´s passing. We met through Ivf , kent helped me with the ups and downs of it all. I owe so much to this man. He was so much more than a doctor. He´s legacy will live on through my two boys . Condolences to all his family & Suzanne. Lorraine & Vincent Kelly Dublin

So sorry to learn of Kent´s passing. Sincere condolences to his family & friends. What a doctor; the world is a better place for having had him in it. He was one of a kind, a truly unforgettable gentle-man. As he self described himself as "the Jezebel of the fertility world", and thanks to him there are many grateful families here in Ireland. I am eternally grateful to him for my little family. RIP dear Kent.

World has lost one of the best, kindest and special doctors. In the world of IVF it is very hard to not feel like a number. Kent was different. He cared about every single patient. Last time I saw him he did my final scan prepping me for an embryo transfer abroad and he said that he had a good feeling about. He was spot on. I am holding my newborn today and I can´t express enough gratitude for his care and support. Rest in peace and we are all missing you. Sending my deepest condolences to...

Where to start. Irish medical told us we would never have children. My wife and I now have 3 beautiful children and all thanks to the help of Kent. A great man. A talented Doctor but more importantly a really great ordinary guy. We will never forget you. You gave us the best present anyone could give us... hope. And we will be eternal grateful. Ar dheis de go raibh a anam dilis mo chara. Suaimneas Siorai. James and Leah. Lucas, Kyla and Ollie

Kent was kind, generous, gregarious, sensitive and complex. I´m glad to have known him. I had the pleasure of meeting Valerie and his lovely sisters whilst in New Zealand many years ago. My thoughts are with them, Kent´s children, those he loved and the many who loved him. The world has lost a spark of light. Rest in peace Kent.

Without a doubt the kindest man I know, I was so lucky to have had Kent as my stepfather will be forever missed by his Irish family

From Erica and Bernard, a wonderful friend, may you rest in peace x
