Mrs. Eva Baker, his wife, has sung in the Chancel Choir for 70 years at Centenary UMC, Smithfield, N.C. Giving the gift of music at church, she makes us joyful! Her husband was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, so I happened to think of both of them today, my neighbors. God bless America!
