KENNETH (KEN) GORDEN BANFIELD

After a brief illness we regretfully announce the passing of Kenneth Banfield on Saturday, February 27, 2016, at the age of 85 years.

Remaining to cherish Kenneth’s memory are his wife, Sylvia; brother Gerald; sons, Ken (Nancy), Larry and Dan (Yvette); daughters, Heather (Jake) and Elaine; grandchildren, Nathan (Brandi), Laura, Kendra (David), Andrew (Stephanie), Daniel, Michael, Peter, Jennifer, Chris (Kirsten), Jody (Kris), Loni (Kyle), Carter, Jessa and Rae; as well as seven great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his father, Hilliard; mother Mabel; sisters, Marjorie and Ada and daughter, Holly.

Ken spent 33 years in the Air Force and was a longtime member of Pine Ridge Golf Club.

On Friday, March 4, 2016, Ken’s Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. in North Kildonan United Church, 174 Pentland Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba, with Rev. Marc Whitehead, presider.
