Kenneth M. Ben, 61, of Girard, passed away peacefully on September 18 with family by his side. Ken was born on June 28, 1963, in Youngstown, Ohio and was the son of Nick and Marilyn (Romanowsky) Ben. Ken graduated from Girard High School in 1981 and received a degree in accounting from Youngstown State University.
Ken leaves behind 2 daughters, Susan (Jordan) Adkins of Pittsburgh, PA and Megan (Andrew) Kujawa of Barberton, OH; 5 grandchildren; his mother, Marilyn Ben; his sisters, Paulette Seiser and Lynette DeSantis and many loving relatives and special friends.
Preceding Ken in death was his father, Nick Ben, and brother-in-law, Fedele DeSantis.
A private memorial service was held for the family at Blackstone Funeral Home. We would like to extend our heartfelt appreciation to Country Club Retirement Center of Newton Falls and Sanctuary Hospice for their excellent care and compassion extended to Ken and our family.
Ken will be laid to rest in Girard City Cemetery.
