When I heard about Ken's death it brought me back to the first time I met him while he was serving as volunteer director of Urban Family Ministries. The man I met was a kind, committed, servant-leader, who was living out his faith and investing his time and resources to serve others for Christ. In the following years, I saw many situations which tested Ken's character, and I saw how he epitomized that a gentle answer turns away wrath, and how a discerning heart seeks knowledge, always...

Dear Mary & Family, Just received a call that Ken had entered heaven. We want to express our condolences. Ken was a great friend! Memories of our friendship flood into our hearts. We spent so many happy times together. We have replayed those times over the years reminiscing how close we were and how we laughed together so many times.
