Not sure what to say?

I was a graduate assistant at New Mexico when Coach Blue was on the Lobo staff. He was someone all looked up to and was kind to everyone. I got to know him and appreciated his help. Besides a top football man, he had a keen sense of humor and was very knowledgeable.

To The Family Blue,

My time at Fresno State playing football for Coach Blue will never be forgotten. I am so sorry for our loss of a great football Coach and more importantly, a great person. I know I speak for all Defensive Bulldogs when I say he will be remembered and missed. Thank you Coach Blue for your contribution to my life.

My condolences to your family during this sad time. (from a classmate of Liz at Lincoln High School.)

May the love and support of your family and friends carry you through this difficult time. Thank you for placing your tribute notice in our newspaper.

Baby Blue,

I heard the sad news of your passing from Buddy Ryan. He and I,as well as all the Pacific Tigers you coached, will miss you and long cherish the memory of your friendship and mentorship. You were a helluva coach and a good and genuine friend to your players and fellow coaches.
With love and respect, The Thumper

Helen & Family -
