Eckersell Funeral Home (Eckersell Memorial Chapel) Obituary

Kenneth Allan “Ken” Bosier went to fish with his sons on November 1, 2024.  He was holding his wife’s hand, and his special pal Bandit was on his chest giving him puppy kisses. Ken was born to Elsa and Charles Bosier October 2, 1937.

He served his country in the National Guard and the Navy.  He raised 3 beautiful children.  Mike and Mark who passed away before him.  A daughter Debbie and husband Mark Hofstetter of Pasa Robles, CA.  An adopted son Troy Bosier of Caldwell, ID. He has 16 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents 4 siblings and 2 sons.  He owned his own trucking company and was proud of his perfect driving record of 30+ years.  He had been in every state plus Canada.

When he retired, Ken and his wife Jerrie traveled in a motorhome for several years.  They also belonged to a Corvette group and enjoyed showing off their various Corvettes. They summered in Island Park, ID where grandkids visited and learned about fishing, one of his favorite hobbies.  His health forced him to move off the mountain to Arizona where he picked up golf and enjoyed the game with many friends.  He was a force to be reckoned with and has an abundance of friends.  His presence on earth will be missed by so many, but especially his wife and buddy Bandit.

Memorial services will be held at the Eckersell Funeral Home (101 W Main Street Rigby, Idaho 83442) on August 11, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. Burial will be at the Rigby Pioneer Cemetery.
