Not sure what to say?

Just found out of Ken's passing. My condolences to the family. I took drum lessons at the Brader Music Store a long time ago! My dad, Don, knew and I think may have played with Ken back in the day. Ken sure was a talented person & a great person. He will be missed by many. God Bless & RIP Ken!

I just found out about Ken's passing by looking up Holiday Brass on FB, as I do once in a while. A post about a Celebration of Life concert in his honor came up, and that is when I knew. I bought my first trumpet at their music store -- used-- might have been a King -- in 1976. I had just joined the band at NDHS. A year later, I traded up to a brand new Getzen Capri which I purchased with money I saved from my paper route. Made first chair with it. When I went to Kutztown University a couple...

Just found out about my old friend and roommate on The Glenn Miller Orchestra having passed. This, after coming upon a benefit concert for him on Youtube, which I saw yesterday, with Phil woods, Peter Nero and many other fine musicians. Ken was a world-class trumpet player and a world "class" friend. I'm deeply saddened in one respect but know his joy in eternity is now a reality. Farewell for now, my friend.

Ken was always kind and very funny. He was my very first trumpet teacher and extremely patient with this late-blooming student, who didn´t start playing until halfway through her 50´s. Godspeed, my friend. It won´t be the same without you.

Condolences to the family. Grew up in Palmer, was a classmate and teammate on the golf team, of which he captained at Easton. It´s not surprising to see all of his accomplishments as he always displayed a rock solid focus and confidence of who he was and what he wanted to be. This also came out in his golf game as he had one of the most beautiful swings and disciplined approach to the game. Thanks for the memories Ken, RIP!

I had the incredible opportunity to take lessons with Ken, and play in the Jazz a and under his direction, for my four years at Lafayette - the joy, and passion, for music that helped us tap into is something I will treasure forever.

One of the most influential people in my formative years, Ken was an incredible teacher and person. He will be truly missed. RIP

The Brader name is an Easton Icon. I enjoyed his holiday brass concerts at Wind Creek every year. His command of the trumpet was unparalleled. His obituary filled in a lifetime of musical excellence. Never knew of his association with the Dorsey and Glenn Miller Orchestras! My favorites!

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together....Blessings and prayers for his family, who knew him best... Joanne Wilson-Vershousky friend of the family
