Not sure what to say?

As one who has spent a lot of Sundays at Mother's Beach over the years, I realize we have lost several old friends from there. But this loss hits particularly hard. Anyone who knew Kenny for any length of time knew him to be funny, caring, generous to a fault...the real deal. We only got to see him every couple of years recently, and it's sad knowing he won't be there the next time we're out there...we'll miss you, Kenny

Kenny, you were one of our neighborhood childhood buddies. Later we worked together at the Press Telegram for over 40 years. I always respected you, and know you'll be fishing in heaven from now on.

I met Kenny many years ago in the Long Beach volleyball league. I never played with him, always against him. He was a great guy. May he RIP...

I met Ken around 1962 when I first started atb theb P-T. Did many fun things with him & his familey, from water skiing on the Colorado River, to lots of snow skiing trips, one in paticular that we went to Mammoth & Keith broke his leg almost right after we got there, to going night diving for lobster. Miss you big guy, wish I could attend your memorial, but living in Idaho makes things hard. GOD BLESS.

I am very saddened by the loss of my life long friend. We grew up together on Cedar Avenue and have quite a history together. I miss my friend Kenny.

Kenny was like a brother to me. Whether we were experiencing our love of the great outdoors or avoiding politics (no reasoning with him on that) he always had a story or little known fact to tell. Kenny was a caring person, never afraid to stick up for the innocent. He was a smart and reasonable person (except for politics…LOL), and sensitive to the emotions of others. He understood me, and for that I am forever grateful.

Ken was a life long friend from our school years together & our working years at the Press-Telegram. So many memories of this great person. He will be truly missed.

Kenny, I didn't know you like Cliff did, but what I remember is how thoughtful you were. I so enjoyed our conversations while you were recovering from your illness. You lifted my spirits so many times. I hope I was able to do that for you also. You brought back so many wonderful memories. I know Cliff would have so much more to share. Glad I got to meet
you and the wonderful times at our Fish
BBQ that you shared with us. Thank You, Kenny, you will truly be remembered by so many.

Kenny, I'm at a lost for words - something you never were. Miss you.
