Ken was a man of high integrity,a loving family man,an outstanding pharmacist, and the best quail hunter Kern County has ever seen. Most of my memories beyond Memorial Hospital revolve around hunting, fishing, and running. Trips to Idaho,Kernville, and other areas of the outdoors to numerous to mention. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him.

I met Ken in 1991 when I was 14 years old. He and Sally regularly welcomed me in their home as Becky and I journeyed through our teen years together at Highland High School and first years of young adulthood. He was a gentle and caring man with a great sense of humor, and it did not take long for me to observe and admire his love and devotion for his family. The world was a better place because of him, and I know he will be greatly missed.
