We were saddened to learn of Ken's death. Although we had lost touch over the years, there are many good memories of time spent together at each other's house and at the banjo rallies. Our deepest sympathies to all members of his family.
Also, fellow banjo player, builder, and friend, Wayne Phillips, asked that his condolences be passed along.

I remember Ken being here at the factory and the NAMM shows... always happy and always had something nice to say. Even the last few times I saw him tooling around in his scooter! Always pleasant! He was notably absent when he retired!

I knew Ken when he was my rep for Martin and some more companies he worked for back in the day. He was a wonderful guy, always with a smile and friendly attitude. We considered him our best rep because he was so honest. RIP, Ken, and to the family, I am so very sorry.
