Not sure what to say?

To Barb and the Cicuto family,
I just learned today about Ken, and I am quite upset. I was a resident in radiology at MMC from 1997 to 2001, and Ken seemed to take a special interest in me at a time when I needed encouragement. He ultimately was the reason I decided to pursue a fellowship in IR - I remember thinking if I could just be like him, then I will have a successful career. Here I am, 18 years later. I am so sad right now. He was such a kind, compassionate and knowledgeable...

Condolences in the loss of a good man. I am a Keys relative and am wondering if the Cicuto children are descended from Percival (Percy) Keys, father of Dean Keys, father of Teresa Keys. If so, please contact me: [email protected].

Dear Barb and Cicuto children,
I was so sad to hear of Ken's death. He was a caring, kind man, a dear friend, and an outstanding doctor. I will miss him. Prayers for your comfort in grief.

So,it goes my friend.....nai cucukov

Ken was a brilliant physician I was privileged to share my internship and we did our residencies at that great but now gone hospital OHM. While Ken did radiology, Walter Keller did surgery and I did internal medicine. We shared many hours, memories, and laughs. I've thought about him many times over the years. He is missed.

Dear Barbara and Family,

My prayers and thoughts are with you. I thank Ken from the bottom of my heart for his friendship with my son Tom. Tom thought the world of Ken, "An excellent and caring physician and a good man". May God give you comfort and strength.

With love and sincere condolences,
Irene Mergl

What a wonderful, kind man we have had the privilege of knowing but lost too soon... I will never forget his patience and kindness for all his patients, colleagues and trainees. He fought a long, valiant battle - may he now rest in peace. Sincere condolences to all his family members.

I had the great privilege of training with Dr Cicuto, even following in his footsteps, serving the people of Maine. He was skilled, patient, and gentle and we are all less today without him. My thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends, and loving wife Barb. Good bye ken, and thank you.

Ken was my friend and a fine man. We talked of going into practice together. He was a scholar and a delight to know.
