I am a friend of Kenneth Clausen´s daughter, Patti Barr, and I remember meeting her parents sometime in the 1990s here in Pitkin. Patti loved her Dad so much and I am so sorry for her loss and for that of other family members and friends. I can tell that Mr. Claussen was a very special person.

Uncle Ken was my God father due to my parents choice as Lutherans, and my aunt Sally (sister) was my Godmother when I was baptized. I can´t imagine how my parents knew that those two would be the foremost , positive influences in my life. Kenny hired me when I was in high school to be a sidekick on several of his construction jobs. Although I only visited Kenneth once while he was visiting Patti & Russ in Pitkin, he was a kind man. I am truly saddened by his passing. Patti and Russ my heart is with you.
