I had lunch with Ken for years in the Lucent cafeteria and at Mr. Chou's! He was a mellow, thoughtful reader of the NY Times, a physicist who would rather talk about politics, an avid reader who turned me on to interesting writers, cared about me as a friend and made me laugh for instance, with his occasional "sunglasses indoors routine"...seeing Jack Nicholson movies.
