Not sure what to say?

I learned of Kenny's passing from my brother-in-law just recently who lives in Gulfport. I met him a few years back when I bought a classic car from him. He was a great person and he made sure everything was operational on the car before selling it. He even delivered it to me in Slidell on his way to New Orleans. Doing business with him was a pleasure, and he was a straight-forward no-nonsense man. My condolences to the family.

Rest in Heaven Mr. Cook.

Kenny was a good friend and will be missed dearly. I am saddened to just now find out of his passing and wish I could have seen him one last time on this earth, but I'll see him again in heaven. James Weldon King

I recently saw a sticker on a vehicle with Kenny's passing. I was sorry to hear this. I met him when I was music director at Heritage UMC (before Katrina). He attended my friend's Dad's memorial. Through that, we just started having some good conversations. He was a sweet man and will always appreciate his kindness. Sorry for your loss. Kathie Comeau

I just learned of Kenny's passing. We were classmates at d'Iberville High School. I remember Cook's auto on Hwy 67; Mr. Dewitt and Kenny always helped anyone who needed their help. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. May God be with his loving family now and always.

I just learned of Kenny's passing. I'm so very very sorry for your loss and broken hearts. As a young Sergeant returning from overseas years ago, Kenny enabled me to keep my old car running when it should have been in his salvage yard. He never charged me one cent for the parts that I needed.

Kenny was a compassionate, giving, good man who loved his family and fellowman.

Almighty God has him in his care.

Dear Shawn,

I am so very sorry to hear of the loss of your father...seems too young to leave you. May Our Dear Lord console you in your grief and draw you near to His Sacred Heart. You still remain in my prayers.

God bless and comfort you and yours,
Miss Karen

Rest In Peace K.W

Wendie, I'm so sorry to hear of your and your family's loss. I know that Kenny was your Prince Charming, and I was so happy when you and he became a family all those years ago. That kind of love - the kind that withstands the tests of time and everyday living together - is rare, and the measure of happiness you felt with him as your life partner will, I'm sure, be reflected in the grief you experience at his loss. My thoughts and prayers will be with you and your family in the days ahead. ...
