DABNEY, Kenneth L. "Huck," 53, of Ashland, went to be with the Lord March 24, 2012. He was predeceased by his mother, Anne Tillman; and his brother, Samuel F. Tillman. Kenneth was a 1977 graduate of Patrick Henry High School. Left to cherish his memory are his children, Letitia Harris, Shamond Franklin and Kendra Dabney; siblings, James Tillman (Rena), Thomas Tillman (Stephanie) and Charlotte Tillman; devoted friends, Lisa W. Smith and Gale Pleasants; along with a host of relatives and friends. Remains rest at the F.E. Dabney Funeral Home, Ashland, where the family will receive friends on Friday, March 30, from 7 to 8 p.m. Homegoing services will be Saturday, March 31, 1 p.m., at the Union Baptist Church, 310 N. Snead St., Ashland. Rev. Darrel Leftwich, pastor, officiating. Interment family cemetery, Caroline, Va. Online condolences can be made to

its been 6 years since you pass way. its just dont feel real at all to me.. but i think you all the time i hope you are look down at all me. i wish you was here with me to see me graduation next but i mean you going to be there look down at me..but i want to say thank you for everything you did for me when you was here..i know you going to be happy when i graduation next year..i know u will be happy next year... wish you was here with me to see it.. thats all you would talk about i want to...
