Kenneth Eugene Dahman, 74, of Bonita Springs, Florida, passed away peacefully March 28, 2019 at home surrounded by those he loved. Born January 17, 1945 in St. Louis, MO, he was the son of Melvin A. Dahman and Kathryn Beljan Dahman. Ken was a member of the University City High School Class of '63 and the University of Missouri College of Business Class of '68. He retired from management systems at Anheuser Busch after 32 years of service. Ken was a member of numerous automotive clubs that included in St. Louis, the British Car, Triumph, Austin Healey, Porsche, and the St. Louis Corvette Clubs, as well as the Antique Auto Club of America, and Corvette Club in Naples, FL. After retirement he was actively involved in his golf community, serving as Secretary and Treasurer to the Highland Woods Board of Directors, and serving many years of President and Treasurer of Highland Woods Terrace II. In his love for golf, Ken made a hole-in one on Highland Woods hole #5 in June 2013. He enjoyed many summers with his family at Lake Wauwanoka in Missouri. Along with his admiration of antique cars he also enjoyed general tinkering with technology and sharing his enthusiasm of history. Surviving him are his wife of 50 years, Susan Dahman (nee George) of Bonita Springs, FL, sons Michael (Angie) Dahman and their children Paige, Brooke, Claire, and Cole, of Huntington Beach, CA, and Kevin Dahman and his daughter Myra of Columbia, MO, brother Ronald (Elaine) Dahman of St. Louis, MO, brother in law Bob (Connie) George, sisters in law Nancy (John) Heitkamp, and Christa (Scott) Johnston. Ken was also cousin to the late Rich and Erna Beljan. He will be remembered fondly as an uncle, great uncle, second cousin, and close friend to many. A ceremony of remembrance will take place at 11:30 AM on Saturday, April 20th, at the Bellerive Gardens Cemetery Mausoleum (768 N Mason Rd, St. Louis, MO 63141). A celebration of life will follow at Favazza's on the Hill (5201 Southwest Ave, St. Louis, MO 63139). In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to https://garysinisefoundation.org or https://backstoppers.org are appreciated.
