Ken was a kind and wonderful man, generous to a fault in helping others. Had a wonderful sense of humor which he brought with him wherever he went. He wore his heart on his sleeve and was always the first to lend a hand to people in need. He lived his faith and brought joy to the hearts of many people during his life. I am one. I was so sorry to hear that he had been ill and wished I had known sooner. I have no doubt that God has welcomed Ken home after a job well done here on earth. We miss...

Ken was the epitome of a true Red Crosser - always helpful. We met again when he drove for SH Senior Center - a testament to his kindness. I was not aware of his long-term medical issue & hope "old friends " kept in touch to brighten his days. RIP, Ken

I have known Ken for 53 years when we both were members at First Baptist church in Springfield, if things had to done in and around the Church it had to be Ken, he was a servant at heart, I have not met a better person than Bro. Ken Dawley, rest well my brother, Sheddy Campbell

As one of the many teenagers that "Doc" mentored from NEBYC and YLC, I always appreciated his kindness and patience. Over the years after my time at camp, even though I would see him infrequently, he always had a warm smile and remembered details about our time together even after 30+ years. Rest easy Doc - your light in the world will be missed.
