Ken was my uncle, (by his brother, Joe ) met him only twice, but both times were memorable moments in my life. Unforgettable man indeed, wish I could have spent more time with him.

Totally agree with Robin, Mr. DeRouche was a favorite teacher; he made learning fun. The picture posted looks like my memory of his happy face. Loved that at the end of the school year he made up nicknames for all of the students and handed out booklets for us to remember. Reader Ruppel signing off

Ken was a top bridge player and a super nice gentleman. About a year ago, he joined Marg Blunt and me for a game at Georgine Fagerlund's home, and we saw him often at the games in Federal Way, always a pleasure (except maybe for the fact that he and his partner would usually come out on top!). I was sorry to miss the service for Ken and am very glad to have known him.

Sorry to read of Ken's passing. He also taught at Sheridan which is where I worked with him. He was always smiling and upbeat. As a fairly new teacher he helped me in many ways. He will be missed.
