I will truly miss seeing Ken on a monthly basis as Mike McKenney and I would minister to the group at Deer Run. Mike would speak and as I sang, Ken would close his eyes, nod his head in time to the beat and move his lips joining me praising our God in silent song. He never failed to tell me how much he enjoyed the special music and to give his best to my husband, Blaine. He spoke of his love of grandchildren and when they would visit, his children and of his God. He always made time for me...

IWhen my father pastored the Free Methodist Church in Charlotte, Mi I got to know Ken very well. We sang together and he showed me a lot about taking photos. I loved his sense of humor and most important was his Faith in Jesus! I know he is enjoying Heaven! God bless his family with comfort duting this time.

I was blessed to be a student of Mrs. Dickinsons 3rd grade class during the 1981-82 school year, as well as the LEAD program. I remember Mr. Dickinson just as vividly. He was always assisting her in planning an event or cultural experience for us. What I never forgot was how he treated his wife. He was always carrying her things, opening her door, and saying the sweetest words. Even at such a young age I knew he was a true gentleman. He is now with his beautiful lady.

Joan and Kendra, I am so sorry to read of your loss. I so enjoyed being friends with your parents during the time I worked at Hutches. Their love and hugs were wonderful and their humor delightful. I still have the Birthday comics and cards the sent me. But most of all the picture of your parents in the Victorian Christmas clothing. It will always bring me cherished memories of them both.
