Mary Ellen, I was so sorry to learn of Ken's death. I have many fond memories of Ken, as well as of you, Sally, and your parents when we were all growing up together on Elmgrove Avenue in Troy. I take comfort in knowing that Ken is now reunited with Sally and your parents. I have prayed for Ken, and my prayers have been with you and your family.

To all of Father Doyle's family- there are no words to describe what a huge loss his passing is to the world. Truly an amazingly kind, funny, spiritual, humble, selfless man - we have known Ken for decades and will miss him dearly. RIP Father "Oidle" and thank you for all that you have done for our family. Father Doyle and his friend Saint John Paul II are reunited and resting comfortably in the arms of Our Lord. I was privileged to be Father's classmate and teammate at ALS.

Reading through the many condolence messages that amplified the life of Father Ken, or "Rock" as he was known at times, I cannot convey it any better. I´ve heard many wonderful stories of you over the years from my deceased husband, Jim, a former priest in the Diocese. We attended many services with you at St. Catherine´s and your presence was a real joy. I loved listening to you both swap stories of the early days. Mary Ellen, We are so sad to learn of Father Ken´s passing. I have so many great memories of him dating back to playing basketball at school 16 and then getting a soda at Jerry´s. He made a special effort to be available to marry Nancy and me and that was so special for us. You and your family have our deepest sympathy. He was a great human being. John and Nancy Bergmann

I am so blessed to have had the opportunity to serve with and assist Fr. Doyle at the Church of St. Mary's. What a beautiful compassionate and devoted man, if I could be one-third of the person he was. I see him now interviewing our Lord to get all the answers. RIP Father, you will be truly missed.

Father Doyle became my best friend in 1980-1981 at the Doane Stuart School while he was giving services at the church and I was at the boarding school learning ESL, we had lots of laughs and were very close, I visited him in Rome and have this beautiful memories of him! I live in Montreal, Quebec and tried to go visit in Albany, too late. My deepest condolences to all the Doyle family and friends. Blanca Gonzalez
