One artist I will never forget thanks to Mr. D

To the Drake Family:

I was fortunate to attend the services today for Mr. Drake. He was the most influential teacher I have ever had...but more importantly, he treated me and many others like an equal which had a huge impact on me as a scared freshman in what seemed to be an enormous HS. I was so saddened to here of Ken's passing. My heart felt sympathy and prayers go out to all his family. It was because of Ken's passion for teaching art that I pursued a career in the art field. I will never forget him and his wacky jokes and wonderful smile.
