Dr. Kenneth Durham

Dr. Durham was my family's dentist from the late 1960's until his retirement. I began seeing him in my early teens until age 39. We made a handshake agreement that I would not have any cavities until after his retirement. Thankfully, with his guidance and expertise in dentistry, to this day at age 68, I still have no cavities. Rest in peace, Dr. Durham.

Dr. Durham was our family dentist for many years starting in the late 1960s. I believe my mother remained a patient until he retired. What a nice guy he was. His office was always a friendly welcoming place. I never understood why you would be afraid of going to the dentist, but I guess not everyone was lucky enough to have someone as caring as Dr. Durham.

Dr Ken, as we called him, was our family dentist in Eugene when I was a kid. My folks knew him from when they had lived in Albany years earlier, so it was natural that he became our dentist. When I grew up and got married, I would drive down from Portland because I didn't want to go to any other dentist. And I did that for quite awhile, until he finally encouraged me to look closer to home. He was a wonderful person. God Bless you Dr. Ken, you will be missed.
