ELKINS, Kenneth L. - Of Flint, age 78, died Wednesday, July 30, 2008 at Brian's House of Davison. Funeral service will be held at 12Noon Friday, August 1, 2008 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Doug Klein officiating. Burial in Flint Memorial Park. Visitation 5PM-8PM Thursday at the funeral home. Kenneth was born in Flint on May 9, 1930, the son of the late Melvin and Lena Elkins. He retired from General Foundry after 30 years of service and was an Air Force Veteran. He loved bass fishing, was an avid handyman and loved spending time with his grandkids. Surviving are sons, Kenneth W. (Karen) Elkins of Flint, Stephen (Susan) Elkins of Flint and Thomas (Judy) Elkins of Flint.
