Just heard about the tragic passing of our old friend and fellow disc jockey "Caveman" Ken from Bridgewater State WBIM radio days. He was hilarious, super friendly, multi-talented and so much fun to be around. My heart goes out to his whole family.

Ken was one of the first people I met as a freelancer. I was pretty green, very little experience on a corporate shoot. Ken was open and welcoming, he immediately made me feel part of the crew. It was my great pleasure to hire Ken years later when I became a producer. He was a producer/director's dream - talented, knowledgeable, easy to work with and just fun to have around. My deepest condolences to Ken's wife and children, he was a true professional and a genuine human being - a rare...

My best friend for 45 years, never had an argument, and that is saying something. Rest in peace, brother....

Ken (second from right) at Benson Animal Farm in 1969 with some of his Ocean Park friends.
My heartfelt condolences go out to Ken's family. He left this earth too soon. We will all miss his friendly demeanor and humor. On his way from Winona Pines to the beach, if I was outside our cottage, he would always stop to chat, catch up on news and tell a joke or two. The Ocean Park Fourth of July parade will not be the same without Ken and his friends singing the Star Spangled Banner and God Bless American in the back of a pickup truck. God is now laughing at Ken's jokes in heaven.

To say that Hible was a staple in the OP community is an understatement... He was the glue and the zen garden... The comic relief and the calm reserve... He brought us all to the table, made us all feel like we mattered in a way that was genuine and deeply felt. I've known Kenny for SO many years, and SO appreciated and enjoyed the love and laughter that emanated from him like life's blood itself. His was a rare gift and if we all took heed of his essence, the world would beat better place...
