Not sure what to say?

We have a 50th high school reunion later this year. I imagine that when Kenny Geiger is mentioned, the word "fun" will be in all our stories with him. His energy probably made working with him a lot less like work. When I recall fun with him, my bad days seem a lot less burdensome. Though he has been gone for 10 years, and even after more than 50 years since our lives came together, Kenny is still an inspiration to many. He was a gift.

Over the last 10 years, I´ve had many reminders of Ken. Just a couple days ago, a friend sent me a video of all of us on the lake in the blue boat. Of course, I had to laugh because Ken was looking for his wallet as usual....lol. It was nice to hear his voice again

Yesterday marked the 10 year anniversary of Ken´s passing. (04/14/14). I´ll never forget the first time that we met in 1980, at a Bank of America Officers picnic in Fall River Mills, when Ken was the Branch Manager there. It was love at first sight. We ended up having quite a history together! Ken told me in 2012, that he would always love me, and that he wished that I would quit drinking. I went into Rehab later that year, and I am still sober by the grace of God, one day at a time, and...

This breaks my heart! Ken (on occasion, Kenny) was a dear friend in high school. I have fond memories of him driving us in that old Willey's jeep way too fast. Ken had a quick wit and a laugh that I can still hear today. I look forward to seeing you again, dear friend.

It’s a little sad to think Ken has passed, but it brings a smile to my face to think of what a great guy he was. When I think back to high school he would be one that would come to mind. Good looking, funny, and a great athlete. He was always surrounded by friends. I wish I knew him better. My prayers are with all his family and loved ones today. I’m sure he is so missed by you all.

I don't know where we go when we go, but maybe you and Ace are somewhere out there together having a beer or out on a lake sharing some time together. Maybe when I go I'll see you there.

I have lots of good memories of Ken and I as next door neighbors and best of friends in Eureka. I can remember sticking a potato up the tail pipe of his sisters car and waiting for her to start the car. We could hardly wait to see the reaction when she started it. We always seemed to be doing some dreamed up crazy goofy thing. Once we added a sail to his soap box car. If the wind was good that thing would rip. When the wind was right we had trouble stopping it. In the summer we would be up...

It's been 5 years since we lost Ken.....it doesn't seem possible. I think about Ken most days, and always have the great memories that pop up on Facebook.

I miss him....

Ken Geiger was one of the kindest, strongest, and bravest men I have ever known. A good friend. I miss him.
