Remembering my friend Kenneth Allen Gibson, a great man and leader. He commented sparingly, but what power and strength those words had. Safe in the arms of the Lord.

Mayor Gibson's had a great memory. In person or on the phone he would greet me as " the Mayor of James Street" with a twinkle in his eye. I miss him.

Wonderful man straight
shooter. I interviewed Ken a few times during the 70's. He was always candid with me.

Mayor Gibson-
You were a champion and friend. My father [Lee Jack Morton, Art Director, City of Newark, NJ] did so much work on your campaign posters, fliers, etc., and I appreciated your successes, though from afar.
May your family find comfort in knowing you were admired and cared for beyond the NJ shore.
Your life was well done, and now, may you Rest in Peace!
