Dear Ken Haan family:
Sorry for your and our loss of Ken. He was one of the last remaining cousins for many of the original Hofstra clan. The picture of his catch of trout, likely from the "deer-lick" region of the Pere Marquette river, near Baldwin, was so quintessential "Ken Haan."
I can still visualize him, along with his brother Harold, in our kitchen in the early 1950's with my dad, John Hofstra, taking a picture of another large catch of fish.
