Not sure what to say?

I knew Ken for almost 65 years. He worked with my dad at Crown Z, where I also worked during summer while attending college. After my dad passed away, Ken and I kept in touch, seeing each other fairly often for many years, through mutual friends. We had lunch a few times a year; including after he did not drive anymore, when I picked him up at the house. Usually we went to Eastmoreland, which was a favorite place for him. I enjoyed his friendship. He was a great friend. We had great...

I miss our phone calls. Ken and my husband, Bill, were in the same class at Oregon State and we have been friends ever since.

Ken was a friend of my dad’s, Dick Gehrke, & by extension, he was a friend to our entire family. Decades & decades of knowing Ken enriched our lives.
Fondly, Jo Ann & John Workinger

I worked with Ken for many years at CZ/JR/Simpson/West Linn Paper and he was always a joy to work with. When the mill was shutdown in 1997, a group of us started meeting monthly for "Third Thursday" at the Willamette McMenamins Pub and continued this tradition for over 20 years until the pandemic hit. I always enjoyed hearing Ken's stories of both past and present adventures. He lived a terrific life and always was interested in what was going on with others lives as well. He will be dearly...

Hello, I received your card of remembrance for your father. I did not know him but his name is very familiar. I was married to John Seibert who died January 29. He was 88. I believe he knew Ken along with Bill Haug, Sr. and they possibly all worked at Crown Zellerbach at the same time. They possibly did some fishing together. I married John in 2001 and we have a blended family. John's celebration of life is March 4. His obituary is listed on the Finley Hill Mortuary and Funeral Home. My...

I am sorry to learn of Ken's passing. He worked with my father at CZ in West Linn, and I worked there as well during my college years. We kept in touch over the years and up to the Covid times had lunch together a few times a year. If there is a service I would like to attend.

Ann, we send our prayers and condolences. We enjoyed your family very much when we all lived in same neighborhood: your mom and dad and Paul. And you. God bless you all.
