Not sure what to say?

Rest easy Coach. A win is a win. -I´m still winning-

So sorry to hear about coach's passing. Such a huge influence in so many lives. Appreciate all the memories and great times I got to experience with Ken Margaret & the boys. Thanks, Coach

I never had Mr. Harris as a teacher, but his basketball team at Churchill I the years is was there was unbelievable. And I enjoyed watching many games. Rest in Paradise.

Thank you Coach Harris for helping me navigate between private and public school and keeping my eligibility. Although I never played for Coach Harris, I attended many of his camps and he was also my PE Teacher. Coach Harris gave me the tools to start coaching elementary basketball while I was still in high school. I wanted to be Coach Harris. I am proud to say I still coach to this day. Godspeed Coach Harris.

Ken's obituary was emailed to me by a fellow graduate of the class of 1966 from Kennedy Highschool in Mt. Angel. As a junior, I was taught US History by "Mr. Harris". I received good grades in school, so expected a good grade in his class as well. Unfortunately on the first exam I received a C which was hard for me to understand as I had answered all the essay questions correctly. I actually asked him why this grade in front of the rest of the class and he explained that "yes" all the...

He was my teacher at John F, Kennedy in Mt. Angel. I remember him as being a kind & a fun teacher. It's been so many years ago. I graduated in 1966. His name has come up in conversations with other classmates, always positive comments. May he rest in Paradise. My condolences to his family.

Coach Harris is a legend. I was privileged enough to play and coach against him. He was one of the kindest people I´ve ever met, and also one of the most competitive. I knew I "arrived" as a coach when he asked me some scouting questions. He didn´t need my help but to say THE Coach Harris was asking was the ultimate compliment. I feel beyond fortunate to call him my friend. Rest in peace Coach - you are the best!

I am covering the State Basketball tournament for KEX Radio and Sunsets team enters prior to a game later that night,,,all team members wore a tie--very impressive and a lasting memory, Ken was a very good coach and teacher. He used discipline when necessary but was very protective of his team. I'm thankful to have known him,,,and also thankful to spend time with Kevin when he was at OSU. Coach Ken was first class all the way, My best wishes to his family, Darrell Aune

Ken was a Milwaukie friend of 75 years. We had many common friends from those days. His coaching career was followed closely by all. My biggest takeaway from Ken and my friendship was that my son and Ken's boys became good friends in later life. Ken will always be in my thoughts and my condolences go to his family.
