HATCH, Kenneth C. - Of Flint, age 78, died Friday, May 16, 2003 at Hurley Medical Center, Funeral service will be held at 11AM Monday, May 19, 2003 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Jim Vogel officiating. Burial in Crestwood Cemetery, with a military graveside service under the auspices of VFW Post #822, Honor Guard. Visitation 1-4 and 6-8PM Sunday at the funeral home. Kenneth was born in Grand Blanc Township, Michigan on August 20, 1924. He was a member of South Baptist Church and served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Kenneth retired in 1984 from General Motors Buick Division after 42 years of service. Surviving are wife of 56 years, Betty; son, Gary Leroy Hatch; daughter, Cynthia Ann and husband Timothy Wayne Belcher; 3 grandchildren, Emily Louise, Timothy James (T.J.) and Casey Mae.
