Not sure what to say?

Ken was a real straight guy, sense of humor and I never saw his get mad from kindergarten at Nathaniel Hawthorne to John Marshall. Some of those who went to Hawthorne will appreciate that Kenny visited Mrs. Ann Burkhart, our 4th grade teacher, who was in her 90's and lived in Florida. Now I can understand that since he lived there. I'd talk to him at the reunions but like a lot of us, lost close contact over the years.
Ken, hope you love that Green Garden in the Sky

Ken and I first met in Christian Science Sunday School during Junior High at JMH where we eventually graduated in 1957.
We were at Ohio University and graduated together in 1961; Ken, Jack Budd and I connected from time to time at JMH Re-unions and occasional visits to each other's hometowns.
Ken was a late bloomer is many aspects of his life, but was always a good friend and an even better listener. The true mark of his character was that he could room with and tolerate Jack (they were...

I REGRET THAT I NEVER HAD THE CHANCE TO TALK TO YOU ABOUT YOUR CONSERVATION EFFORTS IN YOUR LAW PRACTICE. I NEVER KNEW THAT YOU HAVE SHARED MANY OF MY PASSIONS FOR PRESERVATION OF OUR NATURAL RESOURCES.

I HAVE SO MANY GREAT MEMORIES OF YOU FROM BASKETBALL, THE OLYMPIANS AND HIGH SCHOOL AT JOHN MARSHALL. THAT MOP OF BLOND HAIR AND THE "BIRD" NICKNAME.

I HAVE THIS GREAT PICTURE IN MY MIND OF KEN ; EXTREMELY COMMANDING IN YOUR NAVY "SUMMER WHITES."

THANKS BEV FOR TAKING...

I said it all at the Memorial Service. He was my pal through Jr. High, my teammate through High School. My roommate through college and my back door neighbor through law school. And he was my best friend through all of my adult life.

He convinced me we should go into pre-dental at O.U. Then we both found out we weren't so hot at chemistry and zoology.

I was the one who convinced him to go to law school because we could play basketball together again up in Canada, but they...

I only knew Ken for a few short months, but got to take him dancing with his sister, and sit and talk with him a bit. Tried to help him have a good time as long as possible. He struck me as being very funny with a dry sense of humor. He will definitely be missed by many.

Ken and I had been friends since meeting at Ohio University in 1960. He was a life long friend of my ex-husband, George Christensen. It was because of Ken that George and I moved our family to Tallahassee in 1973. We had visited him during the Spring Break that year and we all fell in love with the area. After our divorce, I stayed in Tallahassee, and Ken and I continued to be good friends. We always had so much in common. Then, after he moved to Vero Beach, we stayed in close touch. ...

Ken was our lifelong friend. George was a classmate of Ken's throughout 13 years of public school. First at Nathaniel Hawthorne Elementary School and John Marshall High school, both in Cleveland, Ohio. After graduating from high school in 1957, Ken served as our best man at our wedding. He was our lucky charm for soon we will be celebrating 50 years of marriage. Ken went on to Ohio University and served in the Navy. He would visit us when he was in the area. Our two sons affectionately...

Ken Hoffman was a tall guy with a big smile, strong hand-shake, and cheerful hello. As an Assistant Attorney General in the 1970's, I knew him as a tough lawyer who could stare down despoilers of Florida's environment better than an old sheep dog could spook a wandering coyote. He was before his time in advancing environmental protection in our state - an inspiration for many of us who also cared.

Ken went on to help create a successful law firm in Tallahassee. He did well; the law...
