Not sure what to say?

Ken if you were playing baseball today you would be a millionaire many times over. Dick Purcell

A great person,a friend, and remembered as an awesome athlete. As a baseball player Ken was one of the best at Garfield high school. He played the game so smooth and made it look easy.I got to see him play in Omaha with the Royals and what an great feeling knowing he was from my home town.Ken rest in peace.

I had Coach Huebner as my gym teacher as a freshman which was his first year back at GHS after retiring from his minor league career. I was lucky enough to have him two of the next three years as well. Always seemed like a really good guy who cared about his students. Sad to hear he passed at an age that today is not considered that old.

While reading my Baseball America today, I read about the passing of Ken Huebner. I first met him when I was 9 years old and he was playing for Garfield High School. He became my first baseball real life hero that day. I followed his Minor League career in the Sporting News and later saw him play in the Metropolitan League for the Clifton Phillies.
To complete the circle, I played against him one time in the Vernon Men's Softball League.
Rest In Peace, Ken. You inspired me and I am...

Ken was introduced to me by his sister Carol in the early 70s. He was obviously a great athlete all his life. He could hit a baseball as hard and as far as anyone. He was an RBI machine. Ken's father and I always talked baseball when I saw him. Everyone was very proud of him. He was special and will be missed. Dick Purcell

Ken Huebner was my gym teacher at Garfield High. A great guy and a great teacher. Very caring person. God Bless You.

Kenneth, Lauren and Families, So sorry to hear that your dad passed away. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this sad time. Love, Bob, Sue and Shane

Kenny, I will love and cherish you until we see each other again.

My deepest condolences to Lauren, Kenneth, Chase, Kenyon and family. It is a tragic loss of a loving father, grandfather, brother and my friend. He talked about everyone all the time and sent pictures of his family time with you.
I thank our good Lord for baseball, otherwise we would never have met. He was an awesome player and a warm and loving person.
This spring will be 51 years since I met Kenny in Spartanburg, SC and he has been in my heart all these years and will forever be...
