Celebration of life service for Mr. Kenneth Bernard Jackson Jr will be held on Saturday June 1, 2024, at Wilson Funeral Home, 3000 N. 29th Street, Tampa Florida at 12:00 noon with Apostle ONeil Salmon Officiating.
Kenneth Bernard Jackson Jr was born on June 28th, 1984, at the Women's Hospital in Tampa, FL to Mrs. Janice Jackson (Rhodes) and Mr. Kenny Bernard Jackson Sr. Kenneth departed this earthly life on May 1st, 2024, in Marietta, GA.
Kenny graduated from King High School, Class of 2003 where he majored in Fashion Design. After graduation his love grew for fashion and design. Kenny attended the Art Institution in Tampa, FL where he received his certification in Fashion Design.
He later started his journey to obtain his bachelor’s degree for fashion designing at IDT International Academy of Design and Technology from June 7, 2005- August 12th, 2008.
Kenny resided in Tampa and in 2005 he relocated to Atlanta, GA where he expanded his craft in fashion design at the Pageantry System. He later was a designer for the Neiman Market where he worked with Celebrity Designers. He loved to design clothes. Kenny also loved to cook, a hobby he inherited from his mom and dad.
Kenny loved his play station where he found his comfort and peace. He loved seafood by nature following in his mom footsteps. You can always find Kenny eating seafood. He had a personality that shifted a room when he entered. When Kenny went to any event you know he was there because he was the best dresser. Kenny started working with Computer A Center US as a Logistic Technician on the shipping team from April 25, 2022, to 2024.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Beatrice and Jessie Row Cobb, Willie Steve Jackson III and Mattie Francis Allen Jackson; 2 uncles, Harold James Cobb and Ricky Tyrone Cobb; 2 aunts, Ethel Mae Jackson Gamble and Shirley Jean Jackson.
Kenny leaves to cherish loving memories with his mom, Janice (Brett) Rhodes, Riverview, Florida; father, Kenneth B. Jackson, Sr (Angela Pargo), and Sylvester Lindsey all of Tampa, Florida; 2 sisters, Savannah Lindsey and Courtney Green both of Tampa, Florida; 4 brothers, Patrick Lindsey (Ashley Medina) of Orlando, Florida, Herman Brown, Jalen Jackson, and Cory Jackson all of Tampa, Florida; 5 aunts, Rose Mary Cobb, Mary Etta Walker Owens, Patricia Ann Jackson (Jarvis) Larry, Jacquelyn Jackson and Tonya Cobb all of Tampa, Florida; 5 uncles, Jessie Lee Cobb, Detroit, Michigan, Melvin Cobb, Orlando Florida, Willie Steven Jackson IV, Baldwin, Florida, Alfred Floyd Jackson, Toney Anthony Cobb both of Tampa, Florida; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins including, Allen Cobb, Leon Brown, Dominique Cobb, Zenita Steward, Ebony Floyd, Shellese Floyd, Aaliyah Lindsey, De’ Myla Knight, De’Mario Knight, De’ Mari Knight, Kevin Owens, Tarance LeNoir, Vickie Owens (Johnnie) Bennefield, Tammy Owens Gilmore, Katina Shaw (Ivery) Bryant, Latasha Jackson Hayes, Rashud Omar Hills and Tiarra R. Anderson; 4 close friends, Jonathan Lee Mitchell, Tampa, Florida, Thomas Lewis Martin, Christopher Reynard Morrell (Chris), Nashua K.J. Brown (Nas) all of Atlanta, Georgia; a host of other relatives and close friends.
