Annie, Amber, Rhett and families - I recently learned of Ken's passing through the "Sandpoint grapevine." It made me sad, and so sad for all of you. What a treasure this guy was! I have so many great memories of Kenny, both in Sandpoint and Eugene. Always kind, always helpful, always generous in so many ways. A caring husband, father and grandfather.

Above his many talents, Ken was a voracious reader, a natural leader, and an excellent writer. The man was self taught about many subjects; compassionate about conservation and politics. I loved sitting around in camp and listening to his River running stories at a time when it was unknown to most. We shared forty years plus of adventures. I loved him like a brother.
