Not sure what to say?

I think of the good times that we had together with the twins in my cabin on the Foss River near Skykomish. I remember Ken with great fondness for being the very likeable guy that he was. I know he will be greatly missed. My condolences to especially Andy and Katie, as well as the rest of his family and friends.

I met Ken playing little league football in West Seattle when we were 11 or 12. I will always remember our coach calling him "Sally Jane" as he plowed over defenders.

Even though his abilities were much greater than mine he was always kind. I'll miss his friendly smile.

My thoughts are with his family at what must be a very difficult time.

I too grew up with Kenny through our years at Alki, and up through our years at West Seattle High. I last saw Ken just prior to our 30th high school reunion a couple of years back, and I had not seen him for for many years prior to that. When I saw him that night he had that twinkle in his eye, and that big smile that I will always remember. I told him that he was one of the people I was really hoping to see there, and I was so glad I did! He was a good friend to me when we were kids, and...

Unfortunately Ken and I lost contact over the years, as many of us do. I was very sorry to hear of his passing at such a young age, and certainly wish we had stayed in contact.

He will be remembered as a great childhood friend, a big smile (and fro) and the best athlete I ever knew.

My condolences to his family, particularly his daughters. I am sorry for your loss.

I have heartfelt memories of Ken with his two beautiful daughters. I remember Ken bouncing both of them in his arms .... beaming that wide sweet smile of his.
I offer prayers of peace for his entire family. He will be greatly missed.

Ken & I didn't know each other very well in school, but I got to know him pretty well later through some group camping trips and various other chance meetings in West Seattle. I always enjoyed the fact that someone who was such a great athletic star in high school was such a humble guy. I never heard him bragging about the "old days" or anything like that. I'm saddened that he had to leave at such a young age. God will surely take care of him now. My prayers to his family and friends.

I have many fond memories of Ken Jensen. We started school together at Alki Elementary and graduated together from West Seattle High.

Kenny was my kindergarten crush. On a dare from my best friend, Kristi Prestegaard, I ran up and kissed him on the cheek while he was drinking at the water fountain. Of course he told on me and I had a note sent home!

My thoughts are with the family.

Sincerely,
Mitzi McMillin
